Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Clients,

It is with great pleasure that the A Comfortable Soul forum is now live!  I created this forum in the hopes that a community of people wanting to grow and live their lives with personal responsibility could have a place to meet, discuss experiences and ideas, and know that there are others wanting them to succeed. If that description fits you, then please know that you are welcome.

When I was fairly young I met a man named Charlie Good who became a dad, mentor, and friend to me. One of the things that he reminded me of most often is that life is meant to be lived and not merely survived. I came to learn that a comfortable soul isn’t someone who sits around in a recliner watching TV or reading a book while munching on their favorite snack all day every day. It is someone who knows him/herself, makes conscious decisions, lives honorably, exercises personal responsibility, learns to act instead of to always react, cares about the people and world he/she lives in, and by the example of his/her life causes others to want to live a vibrant life also. A soul can be comfortable when today was lived to the best of his/her ability and any mistakes made were learned from.

Having spent almost 20 years working with people I have come to realize that most people have come to accept mediocrity as their destiny. I say that destiny is what you make it and within all of us lies the ability to be great - to reach for our optimal potential and thrive. It is my goal to live my life as such and to always strive to be better.

May your choices and actions today create a healthier you tomorrow.

Best regards,
Kathryn Woodall, DC, CST
